How to determine the belt speed when choosing a belt conveyor
The belt conveyor is a conveyor device that many enterprises. The equipment relies on the belt as a carrier in the production production to play the role of continuous transportation into items or bulk materials.
First, the conveying volume during the unit time is one of the standards for selected types of band conveyor, and the main factor that determines the conveying volume is the speed. Introduce some methods of selecting some band conveyor with speed selection:
1) When the conveying volume is large and the conveyor belt is wide, a higher band speed should be selected.
2) If the material is easy to roll, large particle size, strong grinding, or easy to dust, and high environmental hygiene conditions, it is advisable to choose a lower -width speed.
3) Horizontal distance conveyor should choose higher band speeds; the conveying distance is short, and the conveyor has a large inclination angle, the slower the speed. The slower the speed.
4) When the amount of dust transports is large, it can be determined by 0.8m/s ~ 1m/s; or decide according to the material characteristics and process requirements.
5) When the artificial ingredients are weighing, the leading speed should not be greater than 1.25m/s.
6) When using a plow -type unloader, it should not exceed 2.0m/s.
7) When using the unloading vehicle, the tie speed should not exceed 2.5m/s; when the finely fragmented materials or small pieces are transported, the band speed is 3.15m/s.
8) When there is a measurement scale, the speed should be determined according to the requirements of the automatic measurement scale.
9) When transporting finished objects, the speed is generally less than 1.25m/s.
Second, the principle of selecting the belt with speed selection:
The band speed of the band conveyor is related to the width, transportation capacity, material nature, block degree, and the line inclination of the conveyor.
When the conveyor is transported upward, the inclination angle and the speed should be low; when the transportation is low, the speed should be lower; when the horizontal transportation is transported, you can choose a high -strip speed.
The determination of the speed should also be considered the type of the conveyor unloading device. When a plow -type unloading vehicle is used, the speed should not exceed 3.15m/s.
